As a Foster Carer, you will receive a weekly allowance for any child that is placed in your care. Children and parents with additional needs will attract a higher weekly allowance. 

Additionally, you will be entitled to other supplementary allowances:

Birthday and Festivals Allowance:

These allowances are provided to the foster carer in order to purchase gifts for the child to celebrate their birthday and religious festivals.

Uniform Allowance:

The £100.00 one off annual payment is for children in secondary school and is designed to assist with the cost of branded school uniform.

Holiday Allowance:

The holiday allowances are provided to the carer, in order that the carer can provide an annual holiday for the child/ren. 

Respite Allowance:

Nurture offers 21 days per annum.
